Databases served from the Research Imaging Center provide access to a broad range of neuroinformatics data.
The Talairach Daemon database contains anatomical names for brain areas using x-y-z coordinates defined by the 1988 Talairach atlas. Both online and downloadable versions of the Talairach Daemon clients are available.
The BrainMap database concisely encodes designs, methods and findings of peer-reviewed papers on functional brain mapping. A key feature of this database is that it uses 1988 Talairach coordinates to spatially encode locations of findings. A sizeable fraction of the functional brain mapping literature including PET and fMRI experiments are encoded. Freely downloadable client applications are provided for entering new papers, for searching the database and viewing results, and analyzing data in the database.
The RIC Publications database provides a means to search through a database of publications by RIC faculty and read abstracts. The ICBM and ICBM-DANI database are part of a long-term research project to develop probabilistic reference systems for the human brain.
Inhouse software provides a listing of and instruction for various software applications. This software is only available to individuals that have valid user accounts at the RIC.
Logs of images transferred to the RIC image archive are provided to tabulate when images are transferred from MRI and PET imagers to the RIC image archive. These logs are helpful to investigators wanting to check the status of their studies.
